Zonta Club 1 of Colombo, Sri Lanka, celebrated Zonta’s 99^thBirthday by appreciating every day heroines – local street sweepers.

These senior women who relentlessly clean the streets of Colombo are often a forgotten minority in Sri Lanka. The Club appreciated their efforts by providing care packs that included a rain coat, sanitary essentials, and toiletries to fifty street sweepers on 20 November 2018.
